Goodbye 2020
2020! A special year without a doubt! We have blamed it more than any other!
Because it’s always someone else’s fault: the government, our neighbor, the situation, the stars, even the year … Everyone but us!
We are always the good, fair, and right by everyone and everything! We are the perfect parents, relatives, friends, partners, professionals, employees …
On social media, we present the image of a philosopher, an ecologist, a successful individual, we have amazing families and we live the dream life which we publish at every opportunity! And we do all this so intensely that we can’t even realize the reality ourselves!
So here comes 2020 to shake us!
To show us that our life is not as we think it is!
That we are not on top of the world just because we have material goods!
That such a tiny virus, something we can’t even see, can control our lives!
It comes to prove that we set the wrong priorities, we place value on worthless things, and that our life ended up being superficial and a compromise!
Of course, the year is to blame for everything! Not that we became complacent and lost our way!
So, 2020 came and forced us to redefine our values and priorities! It gave us a chance to build our lives on a more solid footing! To reconsider! To think whether our life is as we would like it to be! It gave us all this time to do it!
Let’s see this year, poor 2020, from this point of view and maybe we’ll be grateful for it sometime in the future!!

But, if you ask someone whether they are happy, they will look at you as if you were an alien or tell you in disbelief that there is no true happiness.
On social media, we philosophize and analyze things without putting them into practice! We accuse our governments that they care little about us and take advantage of us, but as soon as we are given the opportunity, we take advantage of whoever we can!
Let us finally take responsibility for ourselves!!
