Depression
Depression, in all its forms, is the most common disease in people and in all ages, from children to old people.
Depression or even ugly mood, are biochemical abnormalities in brain function, which bring about a series of repetitive negative thoughts. But the opposite may happen. Negative thoughts that can become habitual, can damage the brain, causing the person to experience depression.
There are several symptoms that betray depression. It certainly does not mean that if one presents one of the symptoms suffers from depression and neither that someone who suffers has all the symptoms together. The best is if you experience for a long time, even a negative mood, anxiety or sadness, contact a specialist for help. Any condition at an early stage is easier to deal with, perhaps even without medication.
Symptoms of depression may be:
~ A feeling of regret or \”empty\” mood
~ Lack of interest or pleasure from routine activities, including sexual acts
~ Reduced energy, depression, fatigue
~ Sleep disorders (insomnia, early morning waking, excessive sleeping)
~ Eating disorders (anorexia and weight loss or gluttony and extra pounds)
~ Tendency towards addictions(drink, drugs, sugar, addictive substances)
~ Difficulty to focus, recall and making
~ Feelings of guilt and vanity
~ A sense of isolation and loneliness
~ Fears for no real reason, eg. health, safety, etc.
~ Thoughts of death or suicide
~ Nervousness
~ Often crying
~ Inertia, often accidents, daydreaming
~ Chronic pains or conditions that do not respond to treatment.
Children with depression will express it with annoyances in the body, such as abdominal or chest pain.
Where can it be due:
~ In anxiety, intense pressure
~ A great loss
~ In childhood traumatic experiences
~ In a separation, a bad emotional state
~ In genetic predisposition
~ A serious illness
~ To financial problems
~ In retirement due to lack of interest or unnecessary management of leisure time.
Treatment
There are various kinds of depression and the treatment is proportionate.
It is best if someone experienced for a long time negative mood, anxiety or sadness to contact a specialist for help. Any condition at an early stage is easier to deal with, perhaps even without medication.
In severe cases the use of drugs is necessary. In most cases, however, with an emotional and psychological approach, treatment is immediate and permanent.
Energy-based psychotherapy methods have proven to be highly effective. What is needed is the choice of the right therapist and sincere cooperation between therapist and patient. They can be combined with any other treatment. See more
Significant help in treatment offers:
~ The use of flowers, which act on the energy level in feelings, without side effects. See more.
~ Deep diaphragmatic breathing that oxygenates the brain and helps it to function properly
~ Light exercise, eg. walking, Qi Gong, yoga, swimming, dancing.
Negative feelings also affect the body. They block it on a natural and ethereal level. This is why physical pains that are not justified in medical examinations can often occur. We know the benefits of exercise in our emotional state. The basic prerequisite is to choose the type of exercise that we like the most.
